Carbon Innovations (Carbinnov) Faculty: Achin Tyagi  |  Programme Director: Dr Sravan Kumar Khuntia

Learn the work. Show the prototype. Meet the people who hire for it.

Carbinnov's Sustainability & FinTech EdTech is a working studio, not a slide library. Lectures set the map, labs make you calculate and defend a decision, and the showcase puts your prototype in front of practitioners.

For MBA programmes, ESG and sustainability teams, credit and risk desks, and fintech builders.

Built for people who sit between sustainability and the balance sheet

Sessions run for working professionals, campus cohorts and client teams who need sustainability literacy that a finance, risk or operations desk can actually use.

MBA institutes and campus cohorts

Founders and builders with a cleantech or green-finance prototype that has not yet met a buyer, plus cohorts who need a portfolio piece, not only a grade.

Delivered live or on your campus

Analysts, credit and risk teams

Climate and ESG questions now appear in the loan file. Learn climate risk in credit and green finance in the language your desk already uses.

Finance-first framing

ESG, EHS and reporting managers

You know the standards. Get the finance vocabulary, BRSR and GHG basics tied to numbers a CFO will read, not another glossary.

Reporting to decision

HR and L&D leads

Build a cohort that can staff your next sustainability hire, with named artefacts you can review before anyone is hired.

What a cohort actually does

Lectures on the Indian and buyer-facing frame:

  • LabsA simple inventory, a supplier question, a product claim that can be checked.
  • A prototype, not a posterA dashboard, model, process map, product page or reporting template that a stranger can open.
  • A showcaseShort, timed presentations to practitioners, hiring managers and Carbinnov's programme network.
  • A career noteWho to write to, what artefact to attach, and what the prototype still cannot claim.

The showcase is the point, not the ceremony

Each builder presents one artefact in eight minutes. Guests are invited to ask one hard question and, if they wish, to leave a card.

The problem

Who needs this

The decision your artefact supports.

The evidence

What you can show

Data, method and sources, open to challenge.

The limit

What it cannot claim

Stating the boundary earns trust.

Next user

Who tries it next

The buyer, team or mentor to meet.

Networking here means a named introduction after a seen piece of work. It is not a job fair and it is not a placement guarantee. Career support is a short brief: role families the prototype points toward, gaps a hiring manager will notice, and an optional route into Carbinnov's sustainability internship desk.

How a cycle runs

  1. Brief

With the Programme Director on the cohort's sector and the artefact they will be able to show.

  2. Lectures and labs

Faculty-led, live or on the client site.

  3. Prototype clinic

One revision against a checklist of evidence, not slogans.

  4. Showcase and career note

Presentations, then a written career note within five working days.

Sets the sector brief, invites the practitioner room, and keeps the showcase tied to real green and cleantech work rather than a generic demo day.
